Here, at Your Core Being Wellness Collaborative in this beautiful quiet space, we focus on total wellness - the connection of mind, body and spirit - along with the amazing benefits of Yoga Asana (poses), Pranayama (breath work) and the connectedness of gathering together in the "Sangha Studio", a lovely and sacred space.

Mondays 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Tuesdays 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Wednesdays, 6:00 to 7:00 p.m.

Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. 

Saturdays, 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

Please Read:

  • Pre-registration is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED for all classes. The easiest way is through the MindBody app (download here.) which also takes payments. Drop-Ins will only be allowed if we're under capacity.

  • We’re going to trust that if you sign up, you’ll show up. If we have no-shows we will switch to a $10 fee to your card for each no-show.

  • Class size is limited to 10.

  • Doors will open 15 minutes prior to class starting. Please be on time; we will not unlock the door if you are late.

  • Please mind your physical distancing as you sign-in/pay for classes at the front desk.

  • We will still accept cash, checks or credit cards for in-person payment.

  • We will ask about your health status when you check-in. Please, if you’re experiencing symptoms, stay home.

  • Masks are required when you enter and sign-in but are optional during class. 

  • Please bring your own props: safer for you and for all of us. (We have props for sale at the marketplace.)

  • The studio floor will be clearly marked for mat placement, with at least six feet of separation.

  • Please use hand sanitizer at the front desk as you enter and again when you leave. There's a second sanitizer near the water cooler by the studio entrance.

  • Please bring your own water bottle. Glassware will no longer be available. If you choose to fill your bottle at our water station, use the provided sanitizing wipes on the tap before and after your use.

Your Core Being has established and will follow

to keep us all safe and well.

Like any public business we cannot guarantee a sterile environment

but will do our level best to maintain

Stay Informed

 

We are delighted to introduce to you the free app to keep up to date with all of our classes, workshops, teachers, and more at Your Core Being.  MINDBODY software, the online tool we use to manage classes, practitioner schedules and the marketplace, offers a free app you can download onto your phone or tablet so you'll always know what class is scheduled and who is teaching.  You can sign in there, complete our waiver form if you're new to us, as well as purchase your class, workshop, or package via the app.  In addition, now you can also schedule a massage or skin care from your phone or tablet!  Just click on the "Get MINDBODY" button.

 

Afternoon Glow

 

Placed in our schedule especially for teachers and others whose workday ends a bit earlier. Afternoon Glow is typically a Vinyasa Flow style of class, which uses the power of the breath to move both strongly and gracefully through the practice, and to deepen a pose. As with all of our "YogaLife" classes, this class is suitable for all levels of experience.

 

 

"Big 'n Little Yoga"

 

We invite moms, dads, or other family members or caregivers to bring their child/ren to yoga! We focus on breathing techniques, physical poses, and mindfulness exercises to encourage kids to be curious about their bodies and their breath and to enjoy that self-discovery, The class helps kids (and their adult companions!) become more flexible, improve and maintain balance and coordination, learn and develop focus and concentration and boost self-esteem, while having fun!  Not currently in the schedule.

 

BIGAsana

 

We here at Your Core Being know that yoga is for EVERY body. This fun, challenging, and inspiring class is designed especially for women and men who want to explore yoga in a comfortable setting where all body types are celebrated and appreciated. Instructor Audrey Duede helps students learn how yoga poses can work for their body type, while creating a beautiful and beneficial practice for all.  In this class, props and modifications help to make yoga accessible to any body because yoga is for every body. 

 

Chakra Balancing Series

 

The Chakra Balancing series is 8 weeks long, focusing each week on one of the seven Chakras (energy centers) in the body.  The eighth and final class is a total Chakra balancing sequence. You will also learn about the Chakras and experience the beauty of Chakra balancing colors and essential oils. Use the MINDBODY app and/or look to our Facebook page for times when this series lands back in the schedule.

Happy Hour Restorative Yoga

 

Rest. Rebuild. Restore. Recharge. Relax.

 

A Restorative Yoga practice with special themes, like Gratitude, Forgiveness, Balance, Hearts Wide Open, or Winter Solstice, one Friday each month. Find deep contentment through supported asana and guided breathwork, beautiful music, inspirational poetry and prose, essential oils and little surprises each time.

We like to switch things up just a little by often adding in the practice of Yin Yoga to our Happy Hours. Yin Yoga, a slower practice, creates a deeper release of the connective tissues of the body - the tendons, fascia and ligaments - through holding poses for longer periods of time, breathing in to the poses, and allowing the body to release and strengthen. Each month, you can expect a mindful, restful, delicious mix of asana and pranayama that is sure to energize your body, engage your mind, and enlighten your spirit.

Vinyasa/Yin

 

Laura Youngblut's Vinyasa/Yin is an all levels class. Vinyasa is a flow style yoga; movement is continuous.  Yin yoga promotes awareness while holding each pose. In this class, yoga poses are cued with the breath. Breath is needed as an energy source to life and can be controlled during your yoga practice. The rate of cueing of breath and movement may vary throughout this class. It is the choice of each yogi to find their control, physically and mentally.

 

Weekend Warriors

 

Busy during the week? Remember, there's always Saturday for a dynamic and energizing yoga class at Your Core Being! Saturday's class is entitled "Weekend Warriors" in honor of all of us who work like H all week long and finally, on the weekend, get some me time to work body.mind.spirit. Sound like you?

 

Saturday's classes are led by Robin L. DoleRovinder Saini or Pat Leitzen Fye.

YogaLife 

 

Designed for all levels of experience, we offer new poses, more challenging poses, plus instruction in modifications of poses so you can find ways for your body to respond and to breathe your way into an easeful posture.  In addition to your asana practice, we focus on "living your yoga" - connecting mind, body and spirit to enhance your life and the lives of those around you.

 

 

 

YCB Workshop Presents

At Your Core Being Wellness Collaborative we design and host special yoga workshops, geared towards advanced poses, Pranayama, philosophy, meditation, wellness and nutrition, and whatever else strikes our fancy - or yours. Watch the website and our Facebook page for announcements. And be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to stay informed.  

Exploring Yoga Series This workshop is for those who are brand new to yoga or for whom a few years have passed since you've last hit the mat. Over the course of four two-hour sessions, you will gain an introduction to the Eight Limbs of Yoga plus knowledge and skills in basic Yoga Asana (poses) and Pranayama (breath work).

Utilizing Hatha Yoga as our model, this series will be led by our Your Core Being Teachers, each of whom offers unique and effective techniques of leading classes, based on their own training, insights, and individual passion, while guiding you on your path to strength, balance, mindfulness, and understanding.

By the end of the series, you will have the ability and the confidence to move into any of our regularly scheduled classes as well as classes held in almost any studio anywhere.

Fee: $100.00 PLUS receive one month of unlimited yoga FREE at completion of the workshop!
